Salary Range: $120,000 - $130,000

About the Opportunity
A growing, mission-driven continuing care retirement community is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to support financial operations for one of its flagship communities. This organization is expanding and adding units, making this a high-impact role with opportunities for growth and process improvement.
The Accounting Manager will work closely with a collaborative finance team and will be trusted with core accounting operations, audit support, financial committee preparation, and variance analysis. This position is ideal for a motivated, detail-oriented, and tech-savvy accounting professional who thrives in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and review journal entries and monthly general ledger reconciliations
Support internal and external audit processes
Prepare materials for the Finance Committee, including reports and financial summaries
Perform variance analysis and assist with budgeting processes
Contribute to financial operations of a growing senior living community, including expansion projects
Collaborate with the VP of Finance, Controller, and accounting team members
Assist in process improvements and support transition to Sage (preferred experience)

Qualifications
Required

Bachelor's degree in Accounting (required)
Strong background in general ledger accounting, audits, variance analysis, and financial reporting
Ability to communicate clearly and work effectively across departments

Highly Preferred

CPA credential or currently eligible to sit for the exam
Master's degree in Accounting or Finance
Experience within a Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC)
Experience with Sage or similar accounting software
Strong technical aptitude and comfort learning new systems
